Drug-inducible gene therapy for glioblastoma shows promise in clinical trial

Veledimex – an oral activator of the human interleukin-12 immunotherapeutic – has been shown to increase survival in patients with recurrent glioblastoma. The results come from a Phase I clinical trial sponsored by Ziopharm Oncology Inc.
