Breast Cancer: Targets and Therapy – Rare breast cancer subtypes: call for papers

breast cancer rare subtypes

Dove Medical Press is pleased to invite you to submit your research to an upcoming Article Collection on “Rare breast cancer subtypes” in Breast Cancer: Targets and Therapy.

While significant advancements have been made in understanding and treating common types of breast cancer, rare subtypes remain underexplored and underrepresented in research. Rare breast cancer subtypes generally exhibit distinct biological and molecular characteristics that differentiate them from more common subtypes. They are also frequently diagnosed at later stages, and there is often a lack of data on optimal treatment protocol and standardized therapeutic approaches.

This journal is particularly interested in papers on the following topics:

  • Molecular biology of rare breast cancer subtypes
  • Pathology of rare subtypes
  • Transcriptomic profiling and other “omics” approaches
  • Novel and emerging treatment strategies

For further information, please view the journal Aims and Scope. The deadline for submissions is 1 July 2025.
