Spotlight survey on cancer clinical trials
Clinical trials have historically been the backbone of cancer research and over the past decade the clinical trial landscape has evolved immensely, providing novel avenues for oncologists to find, prevent or treat cancer and its symptoms. However, despite advancements many oncology trials often fail in their early stages as there are numerous hurdles to overcome to achieve a successful trial outcome.
To kick start this spotlight, we have put together a survey to explore how patient diversity and inclusion is becoming a key area to focus on when designing trials and the importance of acquiring high quality clinical trial data.
