Novel blood test has the ability to detect over 50 types of cancer

A study involving thousands of participants has demonstrated the efficacy of a non-invasive cancer blood test for the accurate detection of more than 50 different types of the disease. The results of the multi-institute trial were published in the Annals of Oncology and could pave the way for earlier detection of cancers not easily diagnosed by current screening methods.
