WHO reports that cancer cases could increase by 60% in 20 years, if trends continue

The World Health Organization (WHO, Geneva, Switzerland) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC, Lyon, France) have released two coordinated reports highlighting the need to improve cancer services in low- and middle-income countries, in response to government calls for further research into potential policies and programs for improved cancer control.
