NCRI 2019: Deaths from liver cancer reach new high in England

Research presented at the National Cancer Research Institute Cancer Conference (Glasgow, UK, 3-5 November) has highlighted an increase in the number of diagnoses of liver cancer, with mortality rates tripling in the past 20 years.The research was presented by Anya Burton (Public Health England, London, UK), who alongside her colleagues, is involved in the partnership between Hepatocellular Carcinoma UK (HCC-UK) and the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service (NCRAS).
