ASCO20: could a liquid biopsy guide prostate cancer treatment decisions?
Research presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO; 29–31 May 2020) virtual annual meeting has demonstrated the potential of a prostate cancer liquid biopsy for predicting treatment response. The results could help to advance oncology towards precision medicine by highlighting who is less likely to respond to treatment at the beginning, or who will relapse later on.
