Clinical trial aims to produce a breath test to identify early-stage cancer

A clinical trial has been launched to develop a breath test that detects the presence of key molecules, which act as indicators of early stage cancer. If successful, the test will be the first of its kind to investigate and identify the presence of multiple cancer types in patients. Cancer breath tests have huge potential as they provide a non-invasive analysis of the body providing doctors and patients with warning of developing cancers,so they can target it with treatment early.
