AACR 2023: HPV awareness drops in the US – survey shows public uninformed about cancer risks

According to survey data presented in the AACR Annual Meeting 2023 (April 14−19 2023, FL, USA ), awareness of the link between HPV and cervical cancer has declined. The study also found low awareness among study participants that HPV can cause anal, oral, and penile cancers.
