A wearable device harnesses electric fields to enhance treatment outcomes for patients with metastatic NSCLC.
The US FDA has approved Optune Lua®, a wearable electronic device developed by Novocure (Root, Switzerland), for use with PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint inhibitors or docetaxel in treating metastatic NSCLC. This decision is based on the successful results of the Phase III LUNAR study.
