Novel nanocarrier for targeted delivery of cancer chemotherapeutics
Researchers from New York University Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabu, UAE) have developed novel hybrid nanocarriers that could be loaded with multiple chemotherapeutics for the safe targeting of cancer cells.
Testing the nanocarrier in tumor-bearing mice demonstrated a reduction in tumor volume and prolonged survival, with no adverse side effects.
