Gut feeling: AI tool predicts stomach cancer risk up to 3 years prior to diagnosis

By leveraging data from over 10 million veterans, a new AI tool accurately predicts risk of esophageal cancer up to 3 years before diagnosis.  Research scientists from the Kettles Veterans Affairs Center for Clinical Management Research (MI, USA) have developed a new AI tool to accurately predict the risk of esophageal adenocarcinoma and gastric cardia adenocarcinoma in patients years before diagnosis.
