FDA recently approved treatment of CAR-T cell therapy for mesothelioma patients

Generally, mesothelioma patients can expect to live for a few months to a few years after diagnosis. Standard treatments involve chemotherapy, surgery, and/or radiation. Oncologists often recommend a multimodal approach, which combines two or more of these treatments. When determining the best treatment approach, doctors consider the patient’s age and health, cell type, and cancer stage.
