Cellares (CA, USA) expanded its partnership with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (WI, USA) to support clinical production and regulatory advancement of a CRISPR-edited GD2 CAR-T investigational therapy for solid tumors.

Meanwhile, Johnson & Johnson announced a US$1 billion investment to build a new cell therapy manufacturing facility, strengthening its capacity for next-generation cell therapies targeting cancer, immune-mediated and neurological diseases.
