Artificial intelligence could be an effective tool in spotting breast cancer

A multi-institutional study has demonstrated that an artificial intelligence (AI) model could be used to identify breast cancers from x-ray images with a similar degree of accuracy to human radiologists. The results, published in Nature, could potentially lead to the involvement of AI in assisting clinical staff in practice.Early detections and treatment generally provide the best outcome for women.
