An interview with Ginny Mason: 20 years of kicking butt and taking names
Abstract
Ginny Mason is the Executive Director of the Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) Research Foundation (IN, USA); a nonprofit organization started in 1999 that is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with this advanced, aggressive disease. Ginny is also an inflammatory breast cancer patient herself and has been a tireless educator and advocate for more than 20 years. In this interview with Louis Gautier, Editor for Future Oncology, Ginny discusses her diagnosis, how this led to her work as a patient advocate and her accomplishments with the IBC Research Foundation.
