Acupuncture may alleviate adverse effects of breast cancer hormone therapy
A recent analysis of three clinical trials has shown that acupuncture can help reduce hot flashes and other side effects for breast cancer patients undergoing hormone therapy. Led by Weidong Lu of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, this study involved trials in the United States, China and South Korea, and demonstrated significant improvements for patients who received acupuncture.
