AACR19: adults at high-risk of HIV less likely to be vaccinated against HPV

Adults at high risk of HIV infection were less likely than the general population to be vaccinated against HPV, which can cause anal and cervical cancer, according to a study presented at the AACR Annual Meeting 2019 (GA, USA; 29 March – 3 April).  HPV infection is relatively common, and a healthy body will dispel it before it causes disease.
