ASCO19: Laparoscopic surgery for colorectal liver metastases – an emerging standard of care?

A team of researchers from Oslo University Hospital (Norway), led by Åsmund Avdem Fretland, has found that the overall survival (OS) of patients with colorectal cancer metastatic to the liver was comparable when the metastases were removed by laparoscopic or open surgery.
