Taxane chemotherapy treatment for metastatic breast cancer

The taxanes, paclitaxel, docetaxel and nab-paclitaxel, are among the most active cytotoxic agents for treatment of breast cancer. Significant progress has been made in addressing taxane dose and schedule in both early-stage and metastatic disease.
