ASCO19: ribociclib combined with endocrine therapy increases survival in breast cancer patients

An international randomized phase III trial has discovered that adding ribociclib to endocrine therapy can significantly improve overall survival in premenopausal women with advanced HR-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer. The results showed that after 42 months of follow up the survival rate for women receiving combination therapy was 70% compared to 46% for women with endocrine therapy only.
