As part of our focus on gender parity in STEM for International Women’s Day 2016 we carried out a survey to hear your opinions on the topic. Are women at a disadvantage in STEM? What are the main factors hindering progression of female researchers to top-level scientific jobs? What should be done to address this?
We had an overwhelming response to the survey, providing some fantastic insight into a key issue affecting science academia and industry, so thanks a lot to all who took the time to share their opinions.
You can take a look at some of the key results in the infographic below – please do comment if you have any thoughts on the outcomes. We will be discussing these results in our live webinar discussion on the 8th March with a panel of scientists from across STEM disciplines – take a look at the panel and register free here.
